Charbel Darido
Dr Charbel Darido completed his PhD at the University of Montpellier in France. He relocated to Australia for a post-doc at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, where he investigated the role of tumour suppressors in skin cancer. He then moved to Monash University to lead the cancer section in the Epidermal Development laboratory.
Dr Darido was the inaugural recipient of the Clare Oliver Memorial Fellowship on skin cancer and he is currently a Mid-Career Victorian Cancer Agency fellow.
More recently, Dr Darido was appointed a Group Leader position at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre to establish a translational research program on skin and head & neck cancers.
